Infinix Smart 7 Plus Update

 Intro

Unboxing

infinix smart 7 plus. Inside we get the phone, a  hard plastic case which offers minimal protection, type c cable, wired earphones, the charging  brick, mtn card to redeem 500mb of data, xpark pamphlet and the sim ejector  tool. All this for 71000 naira.  

Design

The design on the smart 7 plus is different.  It has this wavy 3d textured pattern at the back. Like you can actually feel the umm ridges  on the back of the phone. Of course it's made of  

plastic. Which means it wouldn't break but beware  of scratches. You also won't get smudges on the rear of the phone since it's not glossy but the  camera bump is so that part can get smudged up.  

External features

The fingerprint sensor is located on the camera  bump and it works well. Pretty accurate but it could be faster. On the right side is the  power and volume buttons. At the bottom is the headphone jack, primary microphone, type c  port and the mono speaker grill. So actually an upgrade from the micro usb port on the smart  6. Here's a quick test of the mono speakers on the smart 7 plus. Now on the left side is  the dual sim + memory card slot. And yes it's 4g capable. Up top there's nothing. Display Quality

same of the smart 6. It's a 6.6 inch, 720p, LCD,  waterdrop notch display. Bezels are not too big. The display quality is decent. It is sharp and  colors look okay. And the display also get's bright. I used it under the sun. I struggled a  bit. It was fine. By the way if you're enjoying  while you're at it. We get a 13mp camera on the back and a 5mp front  

Camera Test

facing camera. Photos don't actually look bad.  There are actually pretty sharp even at 2x zoom. Selfies on the other hand have noise  and are not as sharp as the selfie camera. They almost loke blurry.  Not a fan of the selfie cameras.  

Battery and Charging

The smart 7 plus would be able to last  you up to 2 days. We get a 6000mah  battery on here. Which is more than enough for  most people. Infinix claims that this device can last up to 4 days. So there's that. To kill this  phone takes a lot of time and to charge it back up also takes time the smart 7 plus is capable  of only 10W of charging. So you're looking at well over 3 hours to charge from 0-100 Now it's time of the cons. The smart 7 plus is  

Software and Performance

still on Android 12. So no Android 13 on yet for  infinix devices. For some reason infinix is always late for new android versions. For performance  it's powered by a unisoc processor the unisoc sc9863a1. This is another place the phone falls  short. Just doing basic things on the phone and it was lagging. Yes the phone has 4gb of ram and even  up to 7gb thanks to memory fusion. But because of that processor the phone will be slow and will  stutter. From a performance stand point i actually think the smart 6 from last year is better. So that's my review of the infinix smart 7  

Conclusion

plus. The pros of this phone are the 6000mah  battery, the type c port, 64gb of storage, 7gb of ram and the main camera. The cons are , the  processor, android 12 and the slow charging. This phone would have been the best entry level device  if it had a better processor but sadly it losses. Udi this is Udi shoots and you'd see me in
